White Collar Crime
Defence in prosecution, attachment and enforcement proceedings, and investigation and compliance advice.
The firm defends companies and individuals in prosecution, attachment and enforcement proceedings relating to money laundering, tax evasion, cybercrime, intellectual property offences and financial fraud, under laws such as the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (which replaced the Indian Penal Code, 1860 for offences from 1 July 2024), the Prevention of Corruption Act and the Companies Act.
Apart from criminal defence and representation before the courts and concerned Tribunals, the firm’s lawyers are also adept at assisting with investigations and compliance advice relating to financial crime.

Our approach
Criminal exposure should be addressed from the first summons, not the first charge. We assist companies and individuals during the investigation as well as at trial, and take matters to the High Courts and the Supreme Court. Offences are now charged under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 for conduct from 1 July 2024, and under the Indian Penal Code, 1860 for earlier conduct.
